Keto Coconut Pecan Frosting

This clean keto frosting is great for any cake or cupcake, but especially great for German Chocolat Cake

Ingredients

  • 14.5 oz coconut cream 1 can
  • 8 oz butter 1 cup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 200 grams xylitol 1 cup or any sweetener
  • 190 grams shredded coconut 2 cups
  • 250 grams chopped pecans 2 cups
  • 2 tsp gelatin
  • 6 egg yolks

Instructions

  • In a medium sauce pan, which coconut cream, egg yolks, and xylitol
  • Add the butter and bring to boil over medium heat
  • Keep cooking and stirring until mixture thickens - 3-5 minutes - Do Noy Over Boil
  • Remove from eat and stir in vanilla, gelatin, coconut and pecans
  • Transfer to a mixing bowl and cool for 1 hour before frosting cake

    Thank you so much for all of your recipes. They have been a tremendous help to me. I look forward to and enjoy your videos. I would like to try this frosting but I don’t see in the ingredients list how many egg yolks to use.

      There are no egg yolks in the frosting

      I am so sorry – I forgot to put the egg yolks in the ingredients – I answered you saying there weren’t any egg yolks then I read the instructions. There are 6 egg yolks in the frosting – I have changed the recipe to include them.
