Keto Buns – PSMF Egg Whites
BBQ time is upon us so I decided to make some clean keto PSMF hamburger, hot dog, and sausage buns.
These buns can be used on PSMF days with PSMF Chicken Sausage , canned mackerel or sardines with mustard, or shrimp.
They are nice and light – not filling as regular buns are. You can enjoy yourself at gatherings and not feel left out.
The buns are better if refrigerated over night so make them the day before you need them. If not refrigerated, they will be a little flakey.
Keto PSMF Egg White Buns
The perfect buns for hot dogs, sausages, and burgers. They are light and not filling. Also great for PSMF days
Servings: 4

Ingredients
- 3 egg whites
- 14 grams egg white powder
- 1/2 tsp gelatin
- 1 tsp onion powder optional
Instructions
- Add all ingredients in a mixing bowl
- With a hand mixer, beat until stiff peaks form
- form 2 hot dog rolls
- form 2 round burger rolls
- bake at 325 F for 20 minutes
- After 20 minutes, turn off oven and leave rolls in oven
- Best if refrigerated over night
Notes
These are best if refrigerated overnight so make them a day ahead of time.
If not refrigerated, the buns will be a little flakey
