Keto Coconut Pecan Frosting
This clean keto frosting is great for any cake or cupcake, but especially great for German Chocolat Cake

Ingredients
- 14.5 oz coconut cream 1 can
- 8 oz butter 1 cup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 200 grams xylitol 1 cup or any sweetener
- 190 grams shredded coconut 2 cups
- 250 grams chopped pecans 2 cups
- 2 tsp gelatin
- 6 egg yolks
Instructions
- In a medium sauce pan, which coconut cream, egg yolks, and xylitol
- Add the butter and bring to boil over medium heat
- Keep cooking and stirring until mixture thickens - 3-5 minutes - Do Noy Over Boil
- Remove from eat and stir in vanilla, gelatin, coconut and pecans
- Transfer to a mixing bowl and cool for 1 hour before frosting cake

There are no egg yolks in the frosting
I am so sorry – I forgot to put the egg yolks in the ingredients – I answered you saying there weren’t any egg yolks then I read the instructions. There are 6 egg yolks in the frosting – I have changed the recipe to include them.
How can I make it dairy free? What to substitute for the butter?
