Roasted Brussel Sprouts

I always disliked brussel sprouts until I learned how to roast them.

You can use fresh, frozen, whole, halves, or shaved – whichever you prefer.

If I have fresh garlic, I will add that to the brussel sprouts or use garlic powder if I do not have any fresh.

Ingredients:

brussel sprouts

olive oil

garlic (fresh or powder)

pepper (black and cayenne if you want spicier)

salt

 

Place brussel sprouts in oven safe dish.

Add garlic, salt, and pepper.

Coat generously with olive oil (can also add bacon grease)

Heat oven to 375 degrees.

Place pan in oven and roast until brussel sprouts are soft and a little charred.

I have roasted from 1-2 hours.

Enjoy!!

 

This would be a great side dish for the holidays or enjoyed any time!
