Dairy Free Chocolate Ganache

Many of the recipes I make are dairy free, so I needed a Dairy Free Ganache recipe for my Dairy Free Boston Cream Pie.

Instead of heavy cream, I used coconut milk.

For a thinner ganache, use 8 oz coconut milk and 4 oz chocolate.

I don’t use sweetener since I am putting it on a cake that is sweet already but if you would prefer a sweeter ganache, use either liquid or powdered sweetener.

I’m confused. The recipe says use 1 c of milk to 4 oz of choc & the note says for thinner ganache use 1 c milk & 4 oz choc…
    What am I not getting?

My original recipe had equal amounts of chocolate and ‘milk’ but after making it several times, I found it to be too thick.
I will change the notes to reflect this – thanks
