Her fasting insulin was 9.6. Her doctor said she was fine
|
Hey Reader, Dr Karl here. Nine point six. Her CRP fell from 3.6 to 0.47, which is an 87 percent drop. She was 35 pounds over her ideal body weight and she is now 24. No medication for any of it. She takes progesterone for a twenty-year history of endometriosis, magnesium at night, fish oil, glutathione, vitamin D and a bone formula. That is the whole list. Nothing on it is a drug that moves insulin. Here is what I want you to sit with. At no point in those four years did a single one of her values get her a phone call. The number that mattered most, the fasting insulin, spent the first year in a range that a reference interval calls acceptable. It was not acceptable. It was 9.6. The ideal fasting insulin in my data is under 5. The lab’s ceiling is 24.9. That gap, between what a lab will tolerate and what actually predicts where you are going, is where most people spend their forties and fifties. She did not get here by giving things up. She got here by finding out which areas were most vulnerable and working on those specifically, which is the only reason to run labs at all. The full four years, with the numbers on screen, is in the new video. Start there.WATCH: To your health, Links to Our books
