Basil Ice Cream
We have a ton of basil this year so I decided to try making Basil Ice cream.
I have made both garlic and lavender ice cream so why not try basil.
It was amazing! It had a distinct flavor but not a heavy basil taste.
It was so good!
Dairy Free Keto Basil Ice Cream
This Basil Ice Cream is absolutely delish! It is clean keto and dairy free
Servings: 8
Ingredients
- 15 oz coconut cream
- 50 grams xylitol
- 6 egg yolks
- liquid stevia
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 10 basil leaves
Instructions
- Slice the basil leaves
- In a small saucepan, add the coconut cream and basil leaves.
- Heat the coconut cream until warm - not boiling.
- Turn off the heat and let the basil leaves steep in the coconut cream until it cools
- In a blender, add all the ingredients and blend well
- Place mixture in ice cream maker and process according to the ice cream maker's instructions
- Enjoy!
