Hamburger Soup
Some days I just don’t feel like cooking – so I will make something in my slow cooker.
Many times, I just throw things in and hope for the best.
The other day, I decided to make a hamburger soup. This soup is delicious year round.
I rolled the hamburger into little balls and added to the slow cooker.

I then added a quart of my home made beef broth with some seasoning.
This time, my seasoning was : cumin, salt, pepper, onion powder, chipotle.
I vary my seasoning – for a more Italian flavor, I would use oregano, garlic powder, and basil along with the salt and pepper.
I usually start my slow cooker on high until it starts to ‘boil’, then I turn it down to low.
It took 4 hours total to cook.
