Shrimp & Avocado Cocktail
Last year when we were traveling to Jackson Hole for a business meeting (yes we did get COVID on the last flight), we had to switch planes in Dallas.
We had lunch at an out of the way restaurant and had an amazing Shrimp Cocktail with Avocado.
I don’t remember it clearly but I made up a recipe that seems right to me.
Great combination of shrimp, avocado, tomato, and cilantro.
Try it – you’ll love it.

Ingredients
- 4 oz shrimp
- 52 grams red onion diced
- 95 grams avocado
- 1/2 jalapeno pepper
- 2 TBS Lime juice
- 4 TBS diced tomato
- 2 TBS sauce juice from diced tomatoes
- 1/2 diced garlic clove
- salt to taste
- pepper totaste
- cilantro
Instructions
- Dice avocado
- Remove seeds and white pith from jalapeno and dice
- In a small mixing bowl add all ingredients reserving some cilantro for garnish
- Spoon into martini glasses
- Serve right away or chill before serving
