Zero Carb Egg White Pizza

A great pizza alternative using egg whites for the crust - just like traditional pizza without the carbs

Ingredients

  • 6 egg whites
  • 27 grams egg white protein powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp gelatin
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 oz pepperoni
  • 4 oz mozzarella cheese
  • 8 TBS tomato sauce

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, combine the egg whites, egg white powder, gelatin, garlic powder, oregano, and salt.
  • With a hand mixer, whip the egg whites until they form a stiff peak
  • Grease 2 pizza pans or parchment paper on a baking sheet
  • Divide the egg white mixture into 2 pizza crusts
  • Spread the egg whites as thin as possible
  • Bake the pizza crusts in 400 F for 10 minutes
  • Remove from oven and flip the crusts over
  • Top each crust with 4 TBS tomato sauce - all the way to the edge so the crust does not become hard
  • Add cheese and pepperoni - and any other toppings you choose
  • Return to oven for 5-10 minutes until the cheese melts
  • Remove to cutting board and slice
  • Enjoy!

Notes

The majority of the carbs come from the tomato sauce  - overall a very low carb meal.
I have the whole pizza as being a serving, but half of one pizza may be enough for a serving.
