Chocolate Bread with Egg Whites

This is a bread made with egg whites to keep the carb count low - delicious chocolate taste

Ingredients

  • 27 grams egg white powder
  • 6 egg whites
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder about 1 TBS
  • 1 tsp gelatin
  • 5 grams cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp chocolate extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla stevia

Instructions

  • Separate egg whites and egg yolks
  • Place all ingredients in a mixing bowl
  • With a stand mixer or hand mixer, whip the egg whites to a stiff peak.
  • Spread into loaf pan (I use a silicone pan but if you are using metal or glass, line with parchment paper.
  • Bake at 325 F for 35 minutes.
  • Turn the oven off and leave the loaf in the oven for 15-20 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and let cool completely.
  • Once cooled slice loaf - can be stored in refrigerator.

Notes

I do not have the nutritional information because the calculations were way off.
I estimate less than 1 carb per serving.
