Egg Yolk Waffles

These waffles are dairy free, nut free, gluten free and make a great bun for burgers. They are both keto/lowcarb and carnivore!

Equipment

  • waffle maker

Ingredients

  • 6 egg yolks
  • 30 grams bacon fat
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder

Instructions

  • Whisk egg yolks until liquid
  • Melt bacon grease
  • Add melted bacon grease, egg yolk, and baking powder
  • Heat waffle maker - I used a Dash Mini.
  • Pour batter onto waffle maker
  • Cook until done (will vary on waffle maker and thickness of batter)
  • Remove from waffle maker and enjoy!
  • I made 4 waffles with this recipe

Notes

For a sweet waffle, you can add sweetener.
If you are not dairy free, you can use butter instead of bacon grease.
This is clean keto, low carb, as well as carnivore
